I had a wonderful time creating these recipes and discovered that so much more can be done with the basic quick bread technique. Unique quick bread recipes

I've read a lot of cookbooks, especially muffin and quick bread cookbooks, and have never seen such original recipes. As I write this, it's FREE to Kindle users. My advice: snap it up. Great recipes for cocktail and wine-tasting parties. The author wrote these recipes to include meats but offers substitutions for non-meat-eaters.

Bread Lover Speaks Out

I am a bread lover of the first order. I have been known to make a meal of a pack of brown and serve rolls. I even have bread sandwiches.
I don't where the author got her ideas from but I am for it.
The beef-blue cheese looks particularly appealing to me. I don't know how you could go wrong with beef and cheese. There's nothing like the smell of fresh bread baking to get the salivary glands going.

A Great New Twist On Quick Breads

I was delighted to find this book about savory quick breads. The recipes look great and very easy and the wonderful thing about them is the author has thoughtfully listed suggested substitutions for each one. It really is a great way to clean out items that you have on hand in your refrigerator. I will try the Feta & Black Olive Bread first. Those are two items that I always have on hand. Also the Beef Blue Cheese Bread looks like a real winner. The Cheesy Ham Onion Bread looks like a perfect accompaniment to homemade tomato soup which I have on the menu for later this week. Extra added bonus - pictures with each recipe. Highly recommended.
